Spam-IP.com is our little pet project. What are we trying to do you may ask? We are attempting to stop spam, while simultaneously informing users about simple steps they can take to help decrease spam.
Spam has become a billion dollar industry. I hate spam, you hate spam, even the spammers hate to get spammed. It's been said the average person spends nearly half a week avoiding spam every year. I'm just fed up. It's ruined many of my forums, it pollutes my inbox, makes me read crap I don't want to read, and is just all around annoying.
But what can we do you say? Well we can better equip ourselves and cut back the amount of spam we are fed each year. While it's impossible to avoid it all together, there are many steps you can do to stop it. That's what we're all about.
